Batch Actions let you handle many flights at once. Select the flights you want, then pick one action for all of them. Batch Actions work in the StaffTraveler app and in StaffTraveler for web.
In the app
You find Batch Actions on the 'Loads' tab, in the 'Pinned flights' and 'Your requests' sections. You select flights in one section at a time.
In the 'Pinned flights' or 'Your requests' header, tap the round button with a checkmark in a square. It sits to the right of the sort button.
Tap each flight you want. A selected flight turns blue. Tap it again to deselect it.
Tap 'Select all' to open 'Select flights'. Choose 'All flights', or a group such as 'Unanswered', 'Pinned' or 'Status updates enabled'. Groups only include flights from the section you are in.
'Deselect all' clears your selection.
Tap one of the five round buttons in the header. They stay dimmed until you select a flight. Each one is explained below.
To stop without doing anything, tap ✕ at the far right of the header.
On the web
At the top of your requests list, click the square icon. Its tooltip reads 'Batch select'.
Click each flight you want to include.
Click the small arrow next to the square icon. Under 'Select all', choose a group such as 'Unanswered' or 'Status updates enabled'. On the web, a group covers all your requests.
Click one of the five icons at the top of the list. 'Close' ends the selection.
What each action does
In the app, the buttons show icons only. On the web, hover over an icon to see its name.
Request updates (two circling arrows): asks for fresh loads on every selected flight, at 1 credit per flight. We skip flights you are still waiting on an answer for, and flights that have departed. Those cost nothing.
Auto Updates (a timer): choose '3 Hours', '6 Hours', '12 Hours' or '24 Hours', then tap 'Enable Auto Updates'. Each automatic update costs 1 credit. To switch Auto Updates off, tap 'Turn off' on the same screen. On the web, choose 'Disable auto updates' from the list instead.
Pin or unpin (a star): if more than half of your selection is pinned, the star unpins them all. Otherwise it pins them. A filled star means unpin.
Flight Status Updates on or off (a bell): works the same way. A filled bell turns status updates off for the whole selection, an outline bell turns them on.
Delete requests (a red trash can): deletes every selected request. Requests that are answered, or being answered right now, are not refunded. The confirmation screen shows the credits and Priority Credits you get back.
Example: turn off Flight Status Updates for many flights
Say you get status updates for more flights than you need.
On the 'Loads' tab, tap the checkmark button in the 'Your requests' header.
Choose 'Status updates enabled'. Every flight in the section with status updates on is now selected.
The bell is filled, because all the selected flights have status updates on. Tap it to turn them off.
The other groups work the same way. For example, 'Answered' followed by the circling arrows asks for fresh loads on every flight that already has some.
