What notifications does StaffTraveler send?

Every push notification and email we send, and how to turn each one on or off

Last updated on 05 Aug, 2026

You decide what StaffTraveler tells you about, and how. Push notifications and emails are controlled separately, so you can have one without the other.

Push notifications

Go to 'Menu' > 'Profile & settings' > 'Notifications'. Under 'Send me notifications for:' you will find:

  • 'New loads requests for my airline(s)', when someone posts a request you could answer. This is how you catch requests early enough to earn the credit.

  • 'Load updates', when the loads you asked for come in

  • 'Comments on a flight I follow'

  • 'Comments on my tips'

These settings apply to every device you use StaffTraveler on, so turning one off on your phone turns it off on your tablet too.

Silencing everything for a while

Flip 'Snooze all notifications' to mute the lot without losing your individual choices. Handy on a long duty day or overnight. You will find the same switch on the 'Menu' tab.

Emails

Go to 'Menu' > 'Profile & settings' > 'E-mails'. Under 'Send me emails for:' you will find:

  • 'Load updates'

  • 'Comments on a flight I follow'

  • 'Comments on my tips'

  • 'Newsletter'

  • 'Cruise deals & updates'

Flight status updates are set per flight

Alerts about delays, gate changes, and cancellations are not in the list above, because you choose them flight by flight. Open a flight and turn on 'Receive flight Status Updates', or use 'Enable Status Updates' in the flight menu.

Not receiving anything?

Your phone has its own notification permission on top of these settings. If the app says notifications are disabled, tap 'Open notification settings' and allow them there first.
