Notifications for new requests are off by default. To receive them, turn them on in your notification settings.
Why new requests do not always reach you
We do not send a notification for every new request the moment it appears. We first notify a small group of members from that airline, then the next group if the request is still open. A member who is already online may therefore submit the loads before any notification goes out.
Check your StaffTraveler settings
Missing other types of notification too? Start in the app and check your notification settings.
Then check the 'Snooze all notifications' switch. It sits in your notification settings and on the 'Menu' tab, and it silences everything while it is on.
Check your phone settings
Your phone can block notifications on its own, whatever your settings in the app say. The steps below use your phone's own settings, not StaffTraveler's.
iOS
On your iPhone or iPad, go to 'Settings' > 'Notifications' > 'StaffTraveler'.
Make sure notifications are allowed for StaffTraveler, then open the app again.
Android
On your Android device, go to 'Settings' > 'Apps & notifications' > 'Notifications' > 'StaffTraveler'.
Make sure notifications are allowed for StaffTraveler, then open the app again.
Sign out and sign in again
Settings correct everywhere and still quiet? Tap 'Logout' near the bottom of the 'Menu' tab, then sign in again. This re-adds your device to the list we send notifications to. Use the same sign-in method as before, so you keep the same account.
Reinstall the app
As a last resort, delete the app and install it again from the App Store or Play Store. Sign in with the same method as before, so you keep your account. Your credits and requests live in your account, so removing the app never removes them.
